It is officially locked in: Pretty Vee will host Atlanta’s Rum Island Festival on July 11th at the historical Piedmont Park. The media powerhouse is bringing her signature energy to what is being touted as a complete Caribbean cultural experience filled with music, fashion, language, and lifestyle. Trust me, this will be an event to remember.
Whether you’re here for the elite sounds or just want to see if Vee’s infamous alter-ego “Sharon” actually pops out, this is the one festival you cannot miss.
Big Music, Big Vibes, and Pretty Vee
Already announced for the festival is Dancehall heavyweight Aidonia, as well as rising Caribbean artist Ayetian. If you know anything about the culture, you know this should be an unforgettable moment for the South. Also in attendance to keep the energy high are Ricky Platinum, Unique Soundz, and Propa English, just to name a few.
Pretty Vee took to IG to tell her fans exactly what to expect:
“this is going to be 🔥🔥🔥🔥 We are bringing BIG MUSIC, BE VIBES At the HIGHEST LEVEL…. & SHARONNNN MAY POP OUT! 😜🇯🇲 Who’s Pulling Up With Me?”
Vee says the Rum Island Festival is about to bring some of the biggest vibes the city has ever seen. You can go ahead and believe her.
A Caribbean Party with a Concrete Purpose
But this won’t be an evening of just drunken fun with music and vibes. The Rum Island Fest has also partnered with the non-profit organization Her Village Inc. and will use a portion of the proceeds to support families experiencing poverty.
There will be an on-site donation drive along with several other community-focused initiatives. They’ve been designed to have a direct impact on helping those who need it most.
We all know our Caribbean people love to give back as much as they love to party. It’s the perfect balance of celebrating the culture while holding down the community.
Get your tickets now before they’re gone.
